Next Thursday.

I've been saying it all day. 

"Next Thursday I leave!!!" It's currently my favorite thing to say right now.  It's so close, my trip, leaving New York.  I can't believe it.  

Thank you so much for all the song suggestions so far! they are amazing and i'm currently working on downloading them and some audio books.  There will be a lot of driving. 

Last night I saw LOTR ROTK. (Lord of the Rings, Return of the King, for you non-nerds out there).  And despite the obnioxous girls i sat next to i was so inspired.  I can't remember the last time i sat through the enitre movie in one sitting.  It was amazing.  I love the movie so much and one of the reasons it inspired me was the relationship between Frodo and Sam.  Best friends.  Literally willing to die for one another, not some theoritical idea of dying but actually painful death.  The reason this inspired me was because it got me to think about my friends.  The one's who have supported me from the second i met them, Autumn, to those who make me laugh until my sides hurt, Laura, to my guardian angel, Christine.  And not to mention my amazing family, who despite thinking i'm crazy they have donated much time and equipment and money to my trip and i'm eternally grateful, Grandma, Terra and my Mom.  

Realizing that i will be disconnected from some of these people for a long time has got me to think how much i'll miss them.  Friends. who knew i'd have some still and be able to make new ones? Miracles happen people.

10 days until i leave, and what am i worried about?

People who inspire me.

So I'm about three and a half weeks away from leaving and how am i doing?

GOOD! I've recorded a lot of videos, that you haven't seen.  I pretty much have my whole trip planned out. 

NOT SO GOOD! I still need a car.  

But last night I was lucky enough to have good friends who have friends, so i was able to be a seat filler at the Tonys last night.  I wanted to go because NPH was hosting, and i love NPH.  And Daniel Radcliffe was also going to be there and performing.  It was amazing! I don't want to drop names like hanging out next to Alec Baldwin, or anything because I'm way too professional for that.  But I do want to talk about inspiration. 

Last night was inspiring.  I love seeing people at a moment in their life that they will remember forever. I love being able to be witness to people's dreams coming true.  And I love seeing people who are good at their job.  People who are good at their job make me want to do their job.  For example, if I go to a concert a good concert, for me, will mean I walk straight home and pick up my guitar and write a song.  Or in this case, I want to become a broadway actor.  

Thank you everyone who is good at your job, you inspire me!  I sadly will not be pursuing my career in broadway, because well...i can't sing and dance at the same time, or even sing well, or even dance well. That's why i'm a filmmaker.
